Long Description:
The University of North Carolina is in the process of removing its inventory of underground steel tanks and replacing with above ground units.
These funds provide for:
• Removal of underground storage tank;
• Installation of an above ground replacement tank which meets Federal and State environmental and safety regulations.
Note: No costs are included for remediation / clean-up of contaminated sites, if contamination is present.
