Long Description:
It will be necessary to remove the existing ceiling in order to remove the air distribution system as required by this project. During the demolition process there will damage to adjacent wall and floor finishes. Money is being allocated for the repair and or replacement of the affected finishes. HVAC The building is conditioned by four small HVAC systems that are over 25 years old. They include wrapped ductwork and AHUs that include HHW and CHW coils, humidifiers and electric reheat coils, and pneumatic controls. When the HHW system is replaced with steam service to this building, replace these HVAC systems with fully ducted systems. Include DDC controls. Lower recital hall RA grills to floor level. Asbestos insulation may be present on HHW piping in the crawl space, and removal is included in this project.
