Long Description:
It will be necessary to remove the existing ceiling in order to remove the air distribution system as required by this project. During the demolition process there will damage to adjacent wall and floor finishes. Money is being allocated for the repair and or replacement of the affected finishes. The floor tile material in this building has been tested for asbestos and found to be positive. A plan and design for the removal of this material should be created and implemented. Replace HVAC Systems The building is conditioned by several original constant volume terminal reheat HVAC systems. The AHU's and ductwork are lined, the condensate pans and CHW coil framing are corroded, and the systems have reached the end-of-service life. Replace all HVAC systems with VAV-reheat systems, including enthalpy recovery ventilation air preconditioning systems. Replace all ductwork. Include ceiling replacement.
