Long Description:
The existing fire alarm system has been pieced together with three separate systems. They are connected together electrically. The last fire alarm control panel (FACP) was installed in 1998 and functions at present for elevator capture (brings all elevators to ground floor if in an alarm state) only.
We recommend that the new panel be expanded and the entire facility have new manual and automatic detection devices installed to include duct detectors and coverage in mechanical spaces.
