The windows have recently been repainted, but none of the structural problems have been remedied. The existing windows are wood single hung type. The windows leak air and are energy inefficient. This type of window is expensive and difficult to maintain. The windows should be replaced with new clad windows equipped with low e glazing and thermally broken frames that match the historic architectural style.
